Hi SBhooee,

I suppose you are using Skype for Business 2016. Please sign out Skype for Concern> click "delete sign-in info".

And so quit Skype for Business> go to the following location:

 C:\Users\<username> \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Role\16.0\Lync

Remove the sip folder with your Skype for Business sign-in address. Re-open skype for Business organisation, check the result.

If the issue persists, please provide the detailed version of Skype for Business concern. To check the version, please drop downwards the setting options> Help> About Skype for Business.

I followed your instructions and it improved for a few hours on Friday.   So the issue returned by the afternoon - the Lync log in screen keeps popping upwardly annoyingly.

I am using Skype for Business organization 2015.

In improver, I am currently working in another country since final night (Tuesday) and my Skye for Business organisation does not connect at all.  It is on the login screen saying 'Contacting Server and signing in....' and has been for many hours (have tried to shut and open up Skype again).  Internet connectivity appears all OK.

Whatsoever advice on either topic?  I rely on Skype to communicate with colleagues merely this bug is really putting me off the software correct now equally I'grand sure you tin can imagine!

Capeesh any aid please!

Every bit you are using Skype for Business 2015, delight delete the sip folder form this location:

C:\Users\<username> \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Role\15.0\Lync

Meanwhile, it is recommanded you to download Skype for Business 2016 to give information technology a shot.

To download Skype for Business 2016, delight log your Function 365 account into Portal website, click Install Office apps> choose other install options> select Skype for Business organisation 2016> Install Skype for Business 2016 separately.

Sorry it keeps taking me so long to respond, just I waste matter so much of my day disconnecting and reconnecting Skype that it doesn't get out me much time to let you know that information technology even so doesn't work.

The SIP binder deletion approach works, but I take to do this every day/few hours, before it disconnects again.

All of my colleagues use Skype 2015 without the trouble I have and then unless y'all take any other areas I can investigate, I will have to inquire for some local help, it appears specific on my machine but!

Hi SBhooee,

Please follow these steps to remove the sip binder once more, check whether there is any improvement.

one. Click the gear in top right-mitt corner.

ii. Choose File Sign Out to log out of Lync.

iii. On the Sign In window, choose the link to Delete my sign-in info.

four. In the pop-up window to forget sign in info, click Aye.

5. Click the gear, choose File> Exit to go out and close Lync.

6. Go to: C:\Users\<username> \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Role\xv.0\Lync

7. Remove the sip_profilename fodler

8. Printing win+r, tpe cmd

9. Run ipconfig /flushdns to remove the DNS cache

10. Open up Skype for Business.

If the issue persists, please provide a screenshot of the password prompt and the detailed version of Skype for Business organisation.
